Stop High School Dropouts

School dropouts

With so much to learn, including the many technologies we need for jobs these days, why would anyone drop out of high school? A low paying job to a teenager with no other financial responsibilities might seem like a lot of money.
Their chance to buy a new car or some other possession looks tempting. Teenage pregnancy or drug use may end ones education for a time. The lure of crime, such as drug dealing, may sound exciting to a young person. Having no goals or direction can discourage youth from getting more education. What are some of your answers? What other problems do you recognize? I would especially like teenagers to put in their 2¢ worth here.

Create a better program for showing the value of education. More than just better earning power. Know the problems of the world and possible ways to solve them with brain power.
